Giving to Sedbergh |
|
Over the decades, parents and alumni/ae write to express their thanks for the balanced and effective educational experiences that their children or themselves have had in the Valley. Being at Sedbergh has been a life affecting experience for many. The learned skills taught in the Valley include self-reliance, independent thinking and environmental awareness. Those learned skills did not stay in the Valley, they became hallmarks of the personal journeys of our graduates. The success of a Sedbergh education is more than just dedicated staff and a magnificent campus. Consistent and generous donations from parents and alumni/ae have enabled us to purchase rugby jerseys, furniture for the common rooms, a pool table, construct all-weather tennis courts, build a soccer field, add volumes to the library, raise a new hut to list a few. Current Sedbergh students benefit daily from the myriad donations that have been received. A Sedbergh education is not compromised as the school grows. We continue to provide our students with an education that includes the unique and balanced combination of academics, sports and outdoor experiences and adventure trips. To ensure that Sedbergh can continue to build on its unique educational niche, we look to you our friends, parents and alumni/ae for on-going support. It is because of your generous contributions in the past that the future looks so bright. With your financial commitment, Sedbergh will continue to produce leaders for our local and global communities. Sedbergh can benefit from support in many areas. It is important to us that you contribute an amount that is comfortable for you and that your donation is used to support your interests while meeting our needs. Below is a list of some ways in which your contribution will be used. If you would like to discuss your interests prior to making a donation, please feel free to contact Tony Vintcent, Director of Alumni Affairs. Thank you for taking the time to see how you can contribute. Five ways to help
