Sedbergh School is a small independent boarding school for students in grades 7 through 12. We are located on1,200 acres of woodlands and forest near Montebello, Québec, Canada. The school has 70 years of history and has become known for its outdoor and environmental education focus.
With no more than 90 students in the Sedbergh valley, our community has a family-like atmosphere from morning to night. Most teaching staff choose to live on or near campus; they have a love of the outdoors and enjoy contributing to the development of our students in all aspects whether in the classroom, during lunch or on the ski trail.
Teachers All candidates for teaching positions must be in possession of a valid Québec teaching license and a minimum of a Bachelors’ degree. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package and an excellent pupil-teacher ratio.

All staff members are required to participate in coaching and/or co-curricular activities, supervision and full participation in the life of the school.
