Headmaster's Message
Dear Friends,
I am sad to report that the Board of Trustees of Sedbergh School has made the difficult decision to close its doors at the end of June 2010.A tough economy, declining enrolment, the ongoing challenges and costs of providing a top quality education in today’s environment, and proliferating options now available to families, have all been factors in the Board’s decision. As you can imagine, everyone on the Sedbergh team is very disappointed and working through a range of difficult emotions.
Learning extends beyond the classroom with an extensive sports program from kayaking to downhill and cross country skiing all on Sedbergh campus.
Adventure
Outdoor adventures extends beyond the school grounds, where Sedbergh students are challenged by sailing on the Tall Ships or dog sledding in Algonquin Park
